Sanitary Diaphragm Valves are used widely in Pharmaceutical, Nutritional, Biotech and some high-purity applications in the Food, Dairy, and Beverage Industries. Sanitary Diaphragm Valves are sometimes termed Hygienic Diaphragm Valves in the Bio-Pharm Industries. Sanitary Diaphragm Valves offer a unique high-purity design since the diaphragm and valve body form a hermetic seal for the liquid flowing through it. 2-Way Sanitary Diaphragm Valves are available in forged 316L SS bodies with diaphragms of PTFE/EPDM, EPDM, PTFE/Viton®, and Silicone. Multi-Port, and Zero Deadleg Tee Body Diaphragm Valves are machines from 316L SS billet. Sanitary Diaphragm Valves are available in a wide variety of multi-valve fabrications such as sterile access port among many others. Standard Surface finishes available include mechanical polished to Ra 20 µin and electropolished Ra 15µin. Other ASME BPE® surface finishes are available upon request. Sanitary Diaphragm Valves are available in either ASME BPE® Butt Weld Ends, Tri-Clamp® Short Ends, and Tri-Clamp® Long Ends.
