Rigid Tubing is used extensively in the Sanitary Process Industries as a key part of any process piping system. Rigid Tubing is divided into sanitary types and mechanical types for critical and non-critical process fluids. Sanitary Rigid Tubing are manufactured either in Stainless Steel for welded applications or in high purity plastic for either welded or clamp installations. Sanitary Rigid Tubing has the attribute of an internal finish or polish that enhances the hygienic abilities of the fluid. Mechanical Tubing usually does not have an internal finish and is usually used to transport gases such as air, nitrogen ore and sometimes steam.
