3G Slim Line® Filter Housings represent a major improvement on the industry standard Slim Line® housing. 3G, or Third Generation, Slim Line® have improved buttress threads for strength and easier cartridge changes. The 3G Slim Line® is available in both John Guest® (tube insert) connections and in 1/4”, 3/8” and 1/2” NPT. The 3G cap includes a mounting boss, an optional integral bracket, a meter mount (pressure gauge sold separately), and an optional pressure relieve bleed valve. The 3G design accepts the Pentek® Seal-Safe™ double o-ring cartridge as well as the traditional Double Open End filter cartridge. The 3G Slim Line® Filter Housing is ideal for low-flow filtration applications. 3G Slim Line® housings are supported with a broad range of sediment, carbon, and specialty cartridges for many filtration and water purification applications. 3G Slim Line® housings are available in Opaque or Clear sump or bowl options, too.
3G Slim Line® Filter Housings accept all Double Open End filter cartridges that are 2 1/2” diameter and 10” in length, or 10” Pentek® Seal-Safe™ cartridges.
