Minncare® Cold Sterilant is a Peracetic Acid Solution developed to act as a Cold Sterilant in a wide variety of Food, Dairy, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, and Bio-Pharm applications. Originally developed as a Biocide for Pure Water Systems and Water Purification Equipment, Minncare® has been used to replace both Formaldehyde based chemical disinfectants and Heat or Steam Sterilization, too. Minncare® has been successfully used to remove many of the most stubborn biofilms encountered in the industry and has proven to have superior Sporicidal, Bactericidal, Fungicidal, Mycobactericidal, and Virucidal activity. Minncare® Cold Sterilant normally provides a 6 log reduction of bacteria when applied at 1% solution with a 36 minute contact. Longer treatments and repeated treatments may be needed for stubborn biofilms. Minncare® is compatible with most materials used in the Sanitary Process Industries including Polypropylene, PVFD (Kynar®), Teflon®, Stainless Steel, Buna-N, Viton®, EPDM, Silicone, and many of the specialized materials used in Reverse Osmosis Membranes. Easy-To-Use Test Strips in 1% and Residual types allow easy dip and read testing for presence of Minncare®.

Minncare® Concentrate is a strong oxidizer, and a potentially dangerous chemical! GVC recommends that Minncare® be used by those trained and familiar with its uses and that proper precautions and personal protective equipment be used.
