Pentek® R Series Pleated Polyester Cartridges offer a unique pleat design to maximize dirt holding capacity. The design also allows for cleaning and re-use in certain applications. The Durable Polyester media is bacteria and chemical resistant. The media is pleated around a polypropylene core for strength and the ends are immersed in a thermo-setting vinyl plastisol resulting in a unified end cap and gasket. The media seam is overlapped and sonically welded to reduce internal bypass and improve filter efficiency. R Series Cartridges are available in 30 and 50 micron ratings and in 10” to 20” cartridge lengths to fit standard double open ended filter housings. R Series Cartridges are also available to fit the Big Blue® filter housing.
